Pole Shaft: The shaft is constructed from high-strength seamless 6061-T6 aluminum tubing. It is available with side drilling for arm-mounted area lighting luminaires or with tenon mounts for floodlights and post-top luminaires. The shaft conforms to ASTM F1554 Grade 55 requirements.
Finish: The poles feature a textured architectural powder-coat finish in bronze, black, or white. The baked finish ensures maximum paint adhesion, durability, and long-term resistance to wear.
Hand Hole: Each pole is equipped with a cast-iron reinforced hand hole with a grounding provision located 1'-6" above the base. The hand hole assembly includes a secure cover with attachment hardware, designed to facilitate safe electrical connections and routine maintenance.
Surface Treatment: The poles are hot-dip galvanized to provide superior corrosion resistance and a long-lasting protective coating.
Accessories Included: Each pole is furnished with a base cover, a screw positioning plate, anchor bolts, and all required mounting hardware.
Optional Accessories: Available top configurations include a Tenon Top, a Top Cap Only, or an Open Top. These options are designed to accommodate standard slip-fit dimensions.
Design Criteria: The published EPA and weight ratings are based on commercial design criteria with a 1.3-second gust factor. The standard configuration includes a 2.5-inch top adapter, and the pole is manufactured with side openings to accommodate arm-mounted installations. If the top adapter is not required, it can be removed and the pole sealed with a removable top cap.
